The Slater and Gordon Community Fund

The Slater and Gordon Community Fund is a philanthropic fund established in 2001  which offers grants to community groups in three key areas of focus.

  • Assisting people with disease and disability and promoting their participation and inclusion
  • Addressing inequality and disadvantage
  • Encouraging young people to engage in healthy activity and lifestyles through a project or program

NEW: Veteran and Community Grants 

The Australian Government is inviting organisations through an open , non-competitive process to apply for grant funding under the Veteran and Community Grants Program from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020.

Applications close at 11.00pm AEDT on 27 February 2020.

On-Farm Emergency Water Rebate Scheme

Applications are open for eligible applicants to access the $4.75 million On-farm Emergency Water Rebate Scheme.

The scheme has been established to provide one-off 25 per cent rebate up to $25,000 (GST exclusive) to primary producers in drought affected  areas for the costs associated with the purchase and installation of on-farm water infrastructure.

Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program - Round 7

On 27th September 2019, the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development, the Hon Michael McCormack MP announced the seventh round of the Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program.

The program provides funding to enhance the safety and accessibility of aerodromes in remote and very remote areas of Australia. Safe, operational aerodromes are vital in the delivery of essential goods and services in remote and very remote communities, particularly where road access is unavailable, unreliable or disrupted for extended periods due to seasonal weather conditions.

The maximum grant amount is $3 million, however it is expected that most grants will not exceed $1.5 million. There is no minimum. The maximum project period is two years.

Applications open on Tuesday 1 October 2019 and will close at 5.00pm AEDT on 12 November 2019.
